A Penny for Your Spam

Re “California Bans Spam, Sets Fines,” Sept. 24: A penny per e-mail postage for e-mail delivered in the U.S. would bring spam to a halt. If you asked the public to pay postage fees for e-mail, considering the trade-off, I think most would embrace it.
