Left off the list

Mr. Hilburn, come on now. I can’t believe you left out Clay Aiken! Just another example of how out of touch you critics are with the fans [“Standouts, From Danes to Detroiters and Dynamite,� by Robert Hilburn, Nov. 23]. You just can’t embrace anything different, can you? However, since I have been reading your reviews for many years, I think you are old enough to remember a place for an incredible voice singing words one can identify with even if one is not an angry gangster!
