Film buffs line up the turkeys

John Travolta’s ill-fated science-fiction film “Battlefield Earth” has finally become a winner, taking the No. 1 spot in “The Top Turkeys of All Time.”
The list, released by the Yahoo! My Movies Web community, takes its rankings from more than 1 million user reviews posted to the site, https://movies .yahoo.com, by amateur critics.
Their comments can be blunt. A 23-year-old loan specialist writes of the Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez disaster “Gigli” (No. 2 on the list): “You’d get more entertainment for your money by throwing quarters in a fountain.”
“Halloween 3: Season of the Witch,” “From Justin to Kelly” and “Glitter” round out the top (or, in this case, bottom) five.
