‘Sgt. Pepper’s’ marches at the head of magazine’s top 500 list

Who dominates the upper reaches of Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time?
Just remember the three Bs: Beatles, Beach Boys and Bob, as in Dylan.
The Fab Four occupy three of the first five positions, “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” finishing atop the poll of 273 musicians, critics, record executives and other members of the music industry. The Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds” follows at No. 2 and Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited” is at No. 4, between the Beatles’ “Revolver” (3) and “Rubber Soul” (5).
The rest of the Top 10, in order: Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On,” the Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main Street,” the Clash’s “London Calling,” Dylan’s “Blonde on Blonde” and “The Beatles” (a.k.a. “The White Album”).
