Mother, Boyfriend Held in Death of Daughter, 3

A mother and her boyfriend were arrested on suspicion of child abuse in connection with the death Saturday of the woman’s 3-year-old daughter in a camping trailer.
Los Angeles County paramedics responded to a 911 call and found the girl unconscious in the trailer behind a residence in 200 block of North Dalton Avenue about 4:30 a.m., Azusa Police Lt. Gene Street said. She died shortly after arriving at a hospital, he said.
Street said Selene Garcia, 27, and Adan Escobar, 24, both of Azusa, were arrested and held on $1-million bail.
