Microsoft Cuts Xbox Console Price

Microsoft Corp. cut the price of the Xbox video game console by $20 to $179.99, one day after chief rival Sony Corp. cut prices on its PlayStation2 console.
Sony cut the PS2 price to clear out inventory ahead of the June launch of a redesigned version with an online networking adapter. That package is expected to retail for $199.
