Body Found Near Pier May Be Missing Teen’s

The body of a male found floating Monday near the Balboa Pier may be that of a missing El Monte teenager who vanished off Huntington Beach more than a week ago, authorities said.
A fisherman reported finding the clothed body about 8:45 a.m. off the end of the pier, said Sgt. Kurt Vasentine of the Orange County Sheriff’s Harbor Patrol.
Tests will be done to determine whether the body is that of Roy Ken Lee, 18, who was presumed drowned while swimming in heavy surf near Huntington City Beach on March 14.
