After being pushed out of the No. 1 spot on the nation’s album charts by Norah Jones’ post-Grammy surge, rapper 50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Tryin’ ” is again the nation’s sales leader. The album sold 359,000 units last week to bring its five-week total to almost 3 million copies.
Jones’ “Come Away With Me,” which went to No. 1 by selling 621,000 copies the week after the stylish pop singer won five Grammys, slipped to No. 2 after selling 337,000 copies last week. Out for more than a year, the album has sold 4.6 million copies to date.
Rapper Fabolous’ “Street Dreams” sold 185,000 copies last week, making it, at No. 3, the highest ranking entry into this week’s Top 10.
