Man Hurt in Tow-Truck Crash Dies of Injuries

A 30-year-old Oxnard man who was seriously injured Thursday when the tow truck he was riding in crashed in Ventura has died, authorities said Saturday.
Aaron Clark, a driver for McCulloch Transport and Recovery, died Friday morning at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, where he had been taken after the crash on the southbound Ventura Freeway near Telephone Road, authorities said.
Co-worker Michael McCulloch, 19, lost control of the truck, which ran off the highway and down an embankment.
Clark suffered major head trauma when he was thrown from the vehicle, authorities said. McCulloch sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
