The debate will take place at The Times and be televised live by CNN. It will be held on the Thursday before the March 2 presidential primaries in California and several other states.
Nine Democrats have declared themselves candidates for the nomination. All nine participated in a debate last month in South Carolina, followed by a less-heated joint appearance attended by seven of the nine in Iowa.
