Driver Trading Obscene Gestures Dies in Crash

A male motorist was killed in a head-on collision moments after trading obscene gestures with the driver of a car he was trying to pass, authorities said.
The passing man’s car bumped the other car, swerved into oncoming traffic on Avenue R near East 15th Street and collided with two vehicles Saturday, sheriff’s deputies said. The man, who was not identified, died at the scene. The occupants of the other cars had minor injuries.
