Re “Sounds of Relief Are Audible at Disney Hall,” July 1: I’m still hoping a major earthquake swallows the abomination called Walt Disney Concert Hall. Looking like a large tin shack from a slum, this temple of anti-art is a blight upon the city. I am surprised that Esa-Pekka Salonen was able to overcome his ego to choose Beethoven and other real music over his own disharmonic, atonal compositions.
