Investigators Probe Crash of UPS Plane

Federal officials are investigating the crash of a United Parcel Service plane at Mather Field in a Sacramento suburb.
The pilot of the single-engine Cessna reportedly missed his first landing attempt, turned around and then crashed the plane Thursday night.
When rescue crews arrived, they found a burning pile of debris, a downed power line and the pilot, who was taken to UC Davis Medical Center.
The pilot, whose name has not been released, reportedly suffered no major injuries.
