Man Accused of Murder Leaves Jail After 4 Years

A man who spent four years in jail awaiting trial on murder charges was released last week, his attorney said.
Larry Pasley, 24, was arrested in 1998 after police said he confessed to the shooting of an alleged drug dealer found dead in his motel room earlier that year.
Two years later Pasley’s lawyer, Public Defender Betty Barker, found an audiotape of a witness claiming to have overheard two other men discussing Alexander’s killing before and after the crime.
