Dynegy Shares Rise on Profit News

Dynegy Inc., which had more than $2 billion in losses during the first nine months of 2002, expects a profit this year after the company shed assets, fired workers and quit energy trading.
Profit will be 8 cents to 15 cents a share, Dynegy said.
Dynegy shares rose 64 cents to $2.06 on the NYSE.
