Maynard Ferguson to Perform at Fund-Raiser

Legendary jazz trumpeter Maynard Ferguson will perform on Jan. 23 to raise money for the Nordhoff High School music department’s upcoming trip to Carnegie Hall in New York.
Ferguson’s concert will follow a performance by the Nordhoff Jazz Band.
The music will start at 7 p.m. in the school gym, 1401 Maricopa Highway in Ojai. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and are available online at www.nhsmusic.com. For more information, call 640-4343, Ext. 166.
