The Red Cross’ shelter assistance for about 90 survivors of a fire in a downtown residential hotel will end Saturday, but city officials said Thursday that they would help find permanent housing for everyone displaced.
“We are going to take each situation on a case-by-case basis, and we are going to give whatever assistance the situation calls for,” said San Bernardino City Atty. James Penman.
Four men were killed last weekend when a fire began in a large trash can in the Sunset Hotel.
