UC Irvine (13-7, 7-4) at Utah State (17-5, 8-3), 5:30, Fox Sports Net 2, KUCI (88.9) -- The Anteaters are a game behind co-leaders Utah State and UC Santa Barbara in the Big West Conference standings. Irvine plays four of its last seven regular-season games on the road. The Aggies are 92-5 at home in the last six seasons and 9-0 this season. But Irvine beat the Aggies in the Spectrum a year ago.

UC Santa Barbara (11-10, 8-3) at Pacific (11-8, 6-4), 7, KEYT (1250) -- For Pacific to have any hope of finishing first in the regular-season standings, the Tigers have to defeat the Gauchos, who have been a thorn in their side for several years. Santa Barbara ranks No. 1 in the Big West in shooting and defending three-pointers.

Long Beach State (4-16, 3-8) at Idaho (9-11, 5-6), 7, KRLA (870) -- The cellar-dwelling 49ers are 0-9 away from home and play five of their final seven games on the road. Long Beach Coach Larry Reynolds has benched the team’s leading scorer, senior Tony Darden. Darden, however, continues to impress in a reserve role. He led the 49ers with a game-high 19 points in Saturday’s 68-65 loss to Riverside.

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (9-11, 5-6) at Cal State Northridge (10-10, 4-6), 7 -- Although Northridge has lost four of its last six games, Saturday’s come-from-behind victory over Pacific should give it new confidence. Matador forward Ian Boylan has averaged 16 points in his last six games. San Luis Obispo, which lost to Northridge, 73-54, on Jan. 18, has a two-game losing streak after being swept at home by Idaho and Utah State.

Pepperdine (12-10, 4-5) at San Diego (12-9, 6-2), 7, KPLS (830) -- Pepperdine ended a three-game losing streak, its longest in West Coast Conference play since 1997, by defeating Portland, 82-62, Saturday at Malibu. The Waves are in fifth place in the WCC and will have a tough time moving up against physical San Diego.

Loyola Marymount (9-15, 3-6) at Santa Clara (11-10, 2-6), 7, KXLU-FM (88.9) -- Loyola stunned first-place Gonzaga, 80-74, Saturday to end a 16-game losing streak against the Bulldogs and win consecutive WCC home games for the first time since 1999. Santa Clara has lost three in a row and fell to Loyola, 75-69, on Jan. 18.
