Odom Has Potential to Be a Headache

Can we stop all the talk about Lamar Odom’s potential? It would be the ultimate Clipper move to finally invest money in players and then to spend that money on Lamar Odom.
Desperate (and some would say insane) Pat Riley just gave the Clippers $65 million reasons to let Odom spend his smoke-filled days, long hazy nights, and inevitable one-year drug suspension (just one negative test away) in South Beach.
Did anyone watch the Clippers long enough last season to realize that Odom -- he of the high-risk passes, low-percentage jumpers and nonexistent defense -- isn’t that good? Goodbye, good riddance.
Oh, and if “the Donald” (Clipper owner Donald Sterling) wants to re-sign his favorite Clipper, good luck finding new fans.
