Ungrateful Treatment
Re “Keep Driver’s Licenses for Legal Residents,” letters, April 4: Priscilla Espinoza should please remember that “these foreigners [who] have broken our immigration laws” need a ride to clean houses, scrub toilets, care and nurture the little ones and the elderly, manicure lawns, cook at fancy restaurants, park luxury cars, tend to the fields at the crack of dawn. For anyone not to recognize this is unthinkable.
What is un-American is the ungrateful treatment these hard-working women and men endure every single day.
