1 of 2 Unidentified Men Shot at Restaurant Dies
One of two men shot at a Santa Ana restaurant over the weekend died of his wounds Monday, police said.
The shooting, believed to be gang-related, happened in the 1600 block of South Standard Street about 8:45 p.m. Saturday. Both victims, whom police still have not been able to identify, were described as Latino males under 35.
According to Lt. Felix O’Suna, a spokesman for the Santa Ana Police Department, the victim, who was taken to Western Medical Center-Anaheim, died about 12:30 a.m. Monday.
