National Airlines Cancels 2 Routes, Starts Another
National Airlines, which is hoping to emerge from Chapter 11 reorganization next month with the help of new financing, will stop flying between Las Vegas and Chicago’s Midway airport Oct. 1 and has postponed plans to start service Oct. 3 between Las Vegas and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. (It will still fly to Chicago’s O’Hare and Washington Dulles.) The airline plans to begin service between Las Vegas and Reno on Oct. 3, with four daily flights and fares starting at $48 each way.
