Tustin Woman Dies in 4-Car Crash
A Tustin woman died early Saturday in a four-car, chain-reaction pileup on the Orange Freeway in Fullerton.
Myrna Farr, 61, was pronounced dead at St. Jude Medical Center. The accident occurred about 1:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes just north of Nutwood Avenue.
Officers said Farr was driving a Ford Tempo in the slow lane when the car behind her, failing to slow for traffic, rear-ended her, pushing her vehicle into the car ahead, which then struck the car in front of it.
The driver who rear-ended Farr’s car was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Officers reported a minor injury suffered by another person, who was treated at a hospital and released.
