Two Men Are Killed After Fight at Party
Two men were killed Saturday morning in La Puente after a fight broke out at a party, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said.
Antonio Ramirez, 17, and Arturo Cisneros, 20, died from gunshot wounds to their upper torsos. Three others, John Hernandez, 20, Gustavo Contreras, 20, and Ruben Contreras, 19, were also shot and were being treated at hospitals.
The shooting occurred in the 700 block of Vineland Avenue about 12:15 a.m. After three Latino men entered the party, an altercation broke out and one of the suspects began shooting into the crowd, authorities said.
Sheriff’s officials were searching for the suspects, who left the party in a late ‘90s Honda Prelude, authorities said.
