Einhorn Likely to Testify Today About ’77 Killing

Ira Einhorn’s lawyer says it’s up to the former hippie guru to convince a Philadelphia jury that he should go free instead of to jail for the 1977 slaying of his girlfriend. “The circumstantial evidence in this case is extremely damaging,” attorney William Cannon said.
Einhorn, 62, intends to take the stand today and testify that the CIA killed his girlfriend, Helen “Holly” Maddux, and framed him because of his research into “psychic warfare.”
