Woman Arrested in Marijuana Seizure
From Times Staff Reports
After receiving complaints from neighbors about constant traffic at a house on South Seward Avenue, police set up a surveillance operation and arrested a woman on suspicion of selling marijuana, authorities said Tuesday.
Cristal Bivens, 25, was taken into custody Friday after police said a search of her home yielded three-quarters of a pound of marijuana, scales and packaging materials, $2,400 in suspected drug proceeds and a stolen .45-caliber gun.
Bivens is free on $50,000 bail.
