A few Bonds short
I can understand MGM/UA touting the release of their 20th Bond film (“Bonds, James Bonds,” Nov. 17), but what is the purpose of The Times listing only 19 films and joining in this inaccurate enterprise? Your brief reference to two non-MGM/UA films only served to underscore the list’s incompleteness.
Connery starred in “Never Say Never Again,” so how can this movie be excluded in a story on the actors who played Bond? Even the farcical “Casino Royale” should have been listed. Let’s call the new movie what it is: No. 22.
