County Board Orders Inquiry Into Morgue
From Times Staff Reports
The county Board of Supervisors has ordered an inquiry into the morgue at Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center in Hawthorne, after the discovery last month of a body forgotten there for 333 days.
The decomposed remains of Armando Chapal Ramirez, 21, were left unidentified in the hospital morgue until late October.
He died last year of complications from a drug overdose, officials said.
