A robber dressed in black leather fled from a Tustin bank with more than $2,700 Saturday, police said.
The robber, wearing a black leather baseball-type cap and a black leather jacket, walked into the Newport Avenue branch of Union Bank shortly after 9 a.m., Tustin police said.
The man took a note from his wallet that said, “This is a robbery,” and passed it to a teller.
He made his getaway on foot, police said.
Police said the robber is an African American male in his late-20s or early 30s. No weapon was seen.
