Crowds Line Up to Vote Under New System

Huge numbers of Lesotho citizens voted under a new electoral system designed to give smaller parties a voice in Parliament.
Crowds in the impoverished mountain kingdom lined up long before dawn to take part in the election. Final results were not expected before Wednesday.
Lesotho, which is encircled by South Africa, has been in political limbo for four years after opposition protests and an army mutiny nearly overthrew the government.
