Much has been made about the lack of quality teams the Angels have played in this recent surge. Pardon me, aren’t you supposed to beat up on the dregs of the league? Has everyone else won 85% of their games against these teams? The fact is that, for once, they’re doing what they’re supposed to do.

You have to wonder if it has dawned on Disney that it owns a winner. Will Disney now begin to promote the team as something special? Will it go all out to place these amazing players in the All-Star game? Will it see that the Angel games receive much more TV exposure?
Probably not. What it will do when the Angels reach first place is to hike its asking price for the team.

The L.A. Times keeps reporting on this team called “the Angels,” but I don’t believe it. If they existed, they would be on television.
