Westchester’s Adams Set for Trials

Hassan Adams, a senior guard from Westchester who was selected The Times’ player of the year, is among four Southland players who have accepted invitations to attend the USA Basketball junior national team trials May 31-June 2 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Adams will be joined at the trials by Westchester junior forward Trevor Ariza, Carson junior forward Ekene Ibekwe and Villa Park junior forward Sean Phaler.
