3 Stabbed During Fight; Gang Ties Investigated

Three young men suffered stab wounds during a brawl Thursday afternoon outside a music store, police officials said.
The fight occurred shortly after 5 p.m. outside Wherehouse Music in the 1900 block of Oxnard Place. Detectives were investigating the possibility that the fight involved rival gang members, police officials said.
The injured, all in their early 20s, were being treated at St. John’s Regional Medical Center. None of the wounds were life-threatening, said Oxnard Police Cmdr. Joe Munoz. The men’s names were not released.
