$25,000 Reward Offered in Hit-and-Run Case

A $25,000 reward was announced Wednesday for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of fleeing a hit-and-run accident in Pacific Palisades that killed one woman and injured four others, police said.
On April 5, Edward Contreras, 31, of Arleta allegedly fled the scene of an accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Sunset Boulevard that killed Lidia Reyes, 33, a passenger in his car, police said. His vehicle reportedly struck another car carrying four people.
Contreras is described as 5 foot 6, 180 pounds, with black hair and numerous tattoos on his arms, left leg and back.
