Man Gets Prison for Taking Bribes

The former director of a job-training program who took bribes and sex from employees was sentenced to 14 months in prison.
Abdrahman Gamudi, 47, of Oregon pleaded guilty to soliciting and accepting bribes and sex from employees at the Entrepreneurial Resource Center. He was fired three years ago.
U.S. District Judge Oliver Wanger said Monday that Gamudi took advantage of his workers during his “reign of terror.” Wanger said Gamudi’s conduct was depraved and ordered him to pay $6,148 in restitution to victims.
