Autobytel Plans to Cut 40 Positions

Online car seller Autobytel Inc. plans to cut 40 jobs, or about 15% of its work force, in a bid to save $4million a year.
The company, which had revenue of $71million last year, expects to record a second-quarter restructuring charge of $500,000.
Irvine-based Autobytel shares closed at $3.70, up 45 cents in Nasdaq trading.
