A shooting in a Glendale apartment, which was apparently touched off by an argument, left a woman dead and two men in critical condition Monday, authorities said.
Amid yelling, one of the men called police about 3:15 p.m. to say he and two other people had been shot, Glendale police spokesman Kirk Palmer said.
The shootings occurred in a four-unit complex in the 500 block of West Lexington Drive.
Less than 90 minutes later, the woman was pronounced dead at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
The two men were taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. One suffered a gunshot wound to the face and the other was wounded in the stomach.
Both were reported in critical condition late Monday, Palmer said.
“We’re not sure what the motivation for the shooting was,” Palmer said. “But at this point, it appears to be some type of family dispute.”
Police did not identify the victims.
