Bank Robbed for Second Time in Three Months

A Santa Barbara Bank & Trust branch in Port Hueneme was robbed Friday by a man wearing a black derby and dark-rimmed glasses with no lenses, authorities said.
The holdup was the second at the bank in the 600 block of Channel Islands Boulevard in less than three months. In Friday’s heist, the robber handed a teller a plastic shopping bag about 1:15 p.m. and told her to fill it with cash. The robber was described as Latino, 30 to 35 years, with a handlebar mustache and small goatee.
