Rapist’s Ex-Roommates Share $25,000 Reward

Two former roommates of admitted serial rapist Vincent Henry Sanchez have split a $25,000 reward the city offered three years ago for information leading to the person behind a string of sexual assaults dating back to 1996.
Stephen Frueh, 33, and Joshua Reno, 25, were among the men living in a rented home on Woodrow Avenue in Simi Valley with Sanchez when he was arrested last July on suspicion of burglary.
While in custody, Sanchez called Frueh and asked him to destroy a bag he had placed in the trash outside their house.
Inside the bag, Frueh and Reno found photographs and videos of naked women bound, gagged and bleeding. The men told police.
Authorities said Sanchez also is charged with murdering a Moorpark College student.
