Design Events to Help Fill Up the Date Book

On Friday, the De Camera Society at Mount St. Mary’s presents music by Alisa Weilerstein at 8 p.m. at the Gothic Renaissance Doheny Mansion. The 22-room home was designed in 1898 by Theodore A. Eisen and Sumner P. Hunt and includes a Pompeian room, inspired by discoveries in Pompeii, and decorated with a Tiffany glass-domed ceiling. On Saturday, walking tours of City Hall, Angelino Heights, Little Tokyo, Terra Cotta Los Angeles, Art Deco Los Angeles, Broadway Theaters and Pershing Square Landmarks begin at 10 a.m. $8. Reservations required at L.A. Conservancy, (213) 623-CITY.
