The Times will publish cumulative baseball and softball statistics for all City and Southern Section teams every Wednesday, beginning March 20. Please contact us before noon each Tuesday--Monday, if possible--with your players’ names and numbers for all games played through the previous week.

Three ways to report statistics:

* Fax: If your school is located in the San Fernando Valley or Ventura, Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties, fax to (818) 772-3179. If you are in Orange County, fax to (714) 966-5663. All other areas, including Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern counties, should fax to (213) 237-7876.

* Phone: If your school is located in the San Fernando Valley or Ventura, Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties, call (800) 528-4637, Ext. 23345. If you are in Orange County, call (800) 528-4637, Ext. 65904. All other areas, including Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern counties, should call (800) 528-4637, Ext. 77151.

The statistical categories for pitching: games, complete games, innings, hits, strikeouts, walks, runs, earned runs, wins, losses and saves.

The statistical categories for batting: at-bats, runs, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, runs batted in and stolen bases.

If you keep some of these categories and not others, please call us with what you have. We will, however, need innings pitched and/or at-bats in order to formulate averages.
