2. Corona del Mar (5-0, SS-Div. V)
Despite tough schedule, the balls bounce the Sea Kings’ way. Brothers Cameron and Carsten Ball are a combined 16-5 in singles. (3)
3. Los Alamitos (1-1, SS-Div. II)
Kevin McQuaid beat the Ball brothers but lost to his junior-circuit doubles partner, Garrett Snyder, in loss to Corona del Mar. (4)
4. Troy (6-1, SS-Div. II)
Twins Edward and Edwin Mendoza do the job in doubles for Warriors, who won Glendora tournament last week. (10)
5. Harvard-Westlake (3-0, SS-Div. V)
Freshmen Josh Lederman, Sam Wagner and Bret Thacher have played well for Wolverines, who lead Mission League. (5)
6. Woodbridge (4-1, SS-Div. III)
Erik Oijala didn’t play against Servite, and Warriors missed a victory on points in tiebreaker of an outstanding match (6).
7. Westlake (4-0, SS-Div. III)
Freshman Ben Steenland’s play has helped the Warriors defeat their opponents by a combined 65-7 margin. (7)
8. Esperanza (5-0, SS-Div. I)
Best victory so far for Aztecs has been against Aliso Niguel. Their doubles depth will be tested against Servite today. (8)
9. Hoover (4-0, SS-Div. I)
Sam Tadevosian has yet to lose a game. Sergy Vagramian finished third in boys’ 16s in South Bay tournament. (9)
10. Servite (3-1, SS-Div. IV)
Well, Friars know they won’t go unbeaten this year. Loss to El Dorado was inexplicable, even without two key players. (2)
