If you’ve never thought of vacationing in Palm Springs in the scorching summer, think again. How does a villa for $59 per night sound? At the Marquis Villas Resort, rated three diamonds by AAA, that’s what you pay if you stay five nights. If you stay for four nights, it’s $69 per night; for three nights, it’s $79 per night; for two nights it’s $89; and for one night it’s $99. For that you get a main room (with sleeper sofa), a bedroom, a private balcony and a kitchen. The villas, which sleep four to six, command up to $225 per night in the winter season.
