Not Yet a Lifetime
Can somebody explain to me why anybody in their 40s is getting a “lifetime†achievement award? (“AFI Salutes a Humble Tom Hanks With Life Achievement Award,†by Susan King, June 14). AFI honoring Tom Hanks in his mid-40s is a joke. Does he have a terminal illness we don’t know about?
Enough backslapping already. I think these people need to find better use of their time. They’re making the rest of us ill.
