Ricky Romero, a pitcher at Los Angeles Roosevelt High who signed with Cal State Fullerton, and Byron Grubman, a pitcher at Reseda Cleveland who led the Cavaliers to the City Section championship, have been selected co-players of the year in City baseball by a panel of sportswriters.
