More than 200 people have died in some of China’s worst flooding in years, which has affected more than 30 million people and left vast areas under water, officials said.
About 210,000 people have been evacuated in Sichuan province alone, and homes and crops have been destroyed across the country after a week of rain.
State media and officials said 205 people were known to have died, but scores are missing and officials fear that the toll will rise.
Worst affected in recent days has been Shaanxi province, where the New China News Agency said 152 bodies had been recovered.
