Bankrupt Enron Corp. will triple its maximum payout to 4,200 laid-off employees under an agreement struck by the company, its creditors and former employees.
Under the agreement, which still needs Bankruptcy Court approval, workers who lost their jobs when the energy giant filed for bankruptcy late last year would get up to $13,500 each.
