Man Killed, Boy Wounded in Shooting
Two masked gunmen killed a 29-year-old man and wounded a teenage boy early Friday in a gang-related shooting, authorities said.
The attack occurred behind an apartment complex in the 2100 block of North Bullis Road about 12:45 a.m., said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Varela. Two men wearing masks walked up to the victims and exchanged words before they opened fire, Varela said.
The man died at a hospital, and the 17-year-old was hospitalized and expected to recover, Varela said. Anyone with information is asked to call homicide detectives at (323) 890-5500.
