Gasoline Pump Price Forecast Is Lowered

Because of plentiful gasoline supplies, the U.S. government lowered its forecast for gasoline prices this summer by 3 cents a gallon and predicted motor fuel would cost an average $1.41 a gallon nationwide.
This would make the gasoline price 13 cents lower than last summer, far from the weekly record high of $1.70 a gallon reached a year ago.
