Tisinger Earns Spot on Racquetball Team
Janel Tisinger of Simi Valley has qualified for the 2002-03 U.S. Junior National Racquetball team following the U.S. Racquetball Assn. Junior Olympic Championships in June in Chicago.
Tisinger finished second in the girls’ 18-under singles competition in Chicago. She teamed with Jesi Fuller of Albuquerque to win the girls’ doubles competition.
The junior national team will compete at the International Racquetball Federation Junior World Championship in December in Orlando, Fla.
